This public accounting firm is looking for the RIGHT person to keep pace with the optimism and
skills of its staff to best benefit clients. As a member of this team, you will be an integral
contributor in the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, bookkeeping, and other
projects with clientele.
This established team of Certified Public Accountants provides personalized service and the
highest quality accounting, tax, and consulting services to a broad spectrum of clients
throughout the Midwest. They support individual clients, non-profits, small start-ups, and large-
scale corporations. Every day, this team strives to bring the best of their ability, extensive
knowledge, and genuine heartfelt attention to their staff and clients.
Qualifications:
2+ years of accounting experience with a CPA license or CPA qualification in progress
Experience in bookkeeping, preparation of audits, taxes, and financial planning
Ability to plan and prioritize work activity with minimal supervision
To be successful in this role, a high-level understanding of accounting principles and practices is required. Your exceptional attention to detail and consistent accuracy is essential. You employ excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You work well independently, show clear professionalism, and provide excellent customer service. You enjoy a fast-paced, high volume environment, and consistently meet deadlines. You are comfortable with technology and computers, demonstrating proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
*Knowledge and experience working with Lacerte and CCH Engagement, a plus.
The Details:
Location: Aksarben Area
Salary Range: Dependent on position, experience and hours. Pay rate is based on the current
market rate and candidate’s experience, education and/or certifications (reviewed annually);
potential for additional compensation based on billable work and discretionary components.
