This position is accountable for managing the sales funnel and full sales cycle to meet member contact and sales goals. They are empowered to work as ambassadors for Omaha. There will identify companies that exemplify the #WeDontCoast mindset and ethical conduct that sets our business community apart. This job share team will be the main point of contact for their clients and ensure companies are on-boarded and retained for long-term membership.

This role focuses on:

  • Managing the entire sales process

  • Supporting business partners

  • Participating in community and networking events

What you would do:


  • Research companies to create and maintain active prospect list

  • Use tools to create warm leads through phone/email/face-to-face meetings

  • Use creative methods of finding potential clients

Customer Relationship Management

  • Maintain company member database

  • Manage prospect lists through documentation and frequent communication of status to market sales team

On-going client management

  • Drive introductions and referrals through market research

  • Follow-up with phone calls and emails consistently with regular touchpoints to increase interest, answer questions, confirm events, etc.

  • Develop and support long-term positive relationships with clients through regular outreach

  • Work with Manager on at least one new member acquisition event or program (incentives) each year.


Looking for candidates with a sales background, preferable selling a service rather than product. Experience working in a professional setting and client management is preferred. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, enthusiastic, determined, persistent, have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to know and adapt to a variety of businesses and audiences. Must be motivated and able to learn quickly about features and benefits of services. Must be organized and have good computer skills and comfortable using and learning new technology.

The Job Share:

Job sharing will allow you to share the responsibilities and hours of this full time 40-hour work week. The hours/day split will be determined depending on the needs of you and your partner. While you and your partner may have complementary skills, you will be expected to act on each others behalf when the other is not present.

Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Business: Membership Sales

Hours: Shared 37.5 hour work-week

Base Salary: $44,000 (split for job share)
